JEC provided expert landscape advice for the appeal against refusal of planning permission for a replacement dwelling in the High Weald AONB in Kent.  JEC's work also included comprehensive landscape proposals for the site, including a new orchard, new and restored woodland and wildflower meadows, as well as a long term landscape management plan for the site.

The Public Inquiry was held in March 2011 and the Inspector's decision, allowing the appeal, was received in May.
